With the construction of smart grid and wide application of new energy technology, new energy vehicles and electric vehicle charging station as well as the development of electronic technology, microelectronics technology, Dc current detection and other technologies, the technology of the leakage circuit breaker keeps constant development to adapt to the demand of the construction of smart grids. For example, the application of frequency conversion technology and DC technology has further improved the functions and volume of type B circuit breaker. While, the development of electrical vehicle charging piles has promoted the development of leakage circuit breakers which are specially used for charging station.
IDN series are protective devices which can detect different waveforms of the residual fault current and to intervene if there is leakage current in the electrical system. Adding the application of electronics in the grounding device, may lead to current leakage including one important DC power or high frequent components, which may affect the reliability of the standard type of residual current equipment.
In order to overcome this, we have introduced type B leakage current components.
They ensure a higher level of protection for maximum operational continuity in all operating conditions, as they provide protection for all the hops listed in standard En62423.
